Finally got around to making the blog look a little more unique. Naturally this is achieved by adding Batman to every page. Anyway, I was actually lazy with this, it’s built upon the Retromania theme, hence in terms of layout it’s identical to before, just with new, blue and white colours.

After having planned to buy this domain for years, I finally got off my arse and actually purchased it. No longer do I have to rely on the squalor of my previous domain, which was most inappropriate, and thus completely unusable for all but the most basic of uses as a proxy and as personal storage.

Downside of having a proper site again is I actually have to maintain it, and make sure it’s working properly and all that. Although to simplify my task slightly, and because it needs to be done, I’ve added a .js that should theoretically block access to anyone using anything less than IE7. I’d contemplated just blocking the browser entirely, but ultimately decided against it, given it still has large market share overall, and I suspect many that might use any proxy I place here in the future may be using IE.

The site still isn’t completely finished, but it seems to be generally working well enough, so I can start using it; just making tweaks here and there as needed. Not sure if I’ll place adsense on here or not, either.
